Pudgy Penguins recently ranked first in trading volume across all NFT collections. Well, they raised an astonishing $6.21 million in only one day! Blur quickly became the dominant NFT marketplace. It reached a remarkable 24-hour volume of $8.24 million, fueled by 940 active traders. Additionally, Courtyard and CryptoPunks experienced strong activity on their respective marketplaces.

Marketplace Performance

Blur’s recent performance is a testament to its clout as a rising player in the NFT marketplace space. It is beating OpenSea on volume and confirming its place as the go-to marketplace for all NFT trading. Courtyard, another peer-to-peer marketplace worth mentioning, saw a volume of $835,000 through 736 users. Looking at FY23 data, Courtyard has a realized volume of $1.62 million across 14,210 transactions. By comparison, the CryptoPunks business had an amount of $654,000 with just 7 investors.

Collection Highlights

Aside from Pudgy Penguins, other NFT collections recorded significant trading volume as well. With Doodles, clearly that demand translated into a remarkable volume of $348,540 made from 119 sales. In comparison, the Mutant Ape Yacht Club brought in just $326,970 from 54 sales. Milady Maker topped out at $225,800 with 32 sales. Azuki $200,960 – 35 sales. Show related content Lil Pudgys, a companion collection, traded equally as well, with a volume of $1.70 million on 361 sales. Gods Unchained had a strong day closing at a 24-hour volume of $719,020 and 2,200 trades.

Each of these individual NFT sales highlight the staggering value that some sales are fetching within the marketplace. Ranked number 5 NFT of the day was Pudgy Penguin #6615 and it went for 104,900. CryptoPunk #1812 was sold at $136,840. CryptoPunk #8109 was sold at $135,220. These sales speak to the ongoing demand from collectors for high-quality and highly-coveted digital assets.
