With the recent launch of the Lissom collection, Farer has broadened the scope of its offerings. The collection combines a riot of color with an unorthodox approach to numerals and Swiss quartz mechanicals. Every watch in the Lissom collection comes in an ultra thin 38 mm 316L stainless steel case. Measuring a graceful 7.95 mm in profile, these watches are a study in elegance.
What makes the Lissom collection unique is its extremely well-crafted dial. A subtly grained texture acts as the canvas for a recessed, slightly sunken seconds sub-dial. The design makes use of a recessed outer minute track, which both increases readability and depth to the dial.
The sturdy, stylish collection features five different color options, each named after a famous female botanist. The featured Arber model is highlighted with a raspberry-red dial, punctuated with a purple seconds display and minute track. The Forrest model provides an incredibly pleasant teal-green vintage styled dial with a black minute monitor and peach colored numerals. Top of the Lindley’s class The Lindley is available in a dark purple, with a blue sub-dial and minute track. The Balfour model features a traditional white dial with contrasting warm gray seconds sub-dial.
Each Balfour and Forrest model is individually sold with blue and sand-colored suede straps, respectively. The straps add all-day comfort while making unique stylistic contributions to the finished look.
At the center of the Farer Lissom is the Swiss-made La Joux-Perret D100 manual-winding caliber. This movement, beautiful in its simplicity, runs at a 3 Hz frequency and has an 18 jewel count. It additionally delivers a 50-hour power reserve.
